Tatar Family Road Trip
🚗 About the Game
Missing Japan a lot lately? Hop into your retro red ride and take a relaxing highway cruise through Japan, accompanied by chill, mellow lo-fi beats.
This is a mobile-first, portrait-mode arcade driving experience inspired by 90s retro low-poly 3D aesthetics and the nostalgic mechanics of classic *Road Fighter*. Cruise through scenic Japanese routes—from the neon expressway of Tokyo and the peaceful suburban tracks of Nisshin City (featuring the iconic red Meitetsu Toyota Line train) to the moonlit vistas of Mt. Fuji.
💖 A Father-Daughter Indie Project
This little game was created out of pure love and nostalgia for traveling in Japan:
The Creative Director: My 3rd-grade daughter, who brainstormed the fun gimmicks, selected scenic ideas, and made sure the vibe stayed cozy and fun.
The Development: Built by a dad using generative AI coding assistants to bring our shared travel memories to life.
✨ Features
90s Retro Low-Poly 3D: Chunky polygon cars, overhead highway signs, and nostalgic night-drive lighting.
Chill Lo-Fi Soundtrack: Soft jazz chords, vinyl crackle, and soothing rhythms that adapt as you drive.

One-Thumb Touch Controls: Smooth, weighted steering designed specifically for mobile browsers.
Classic Arcade High Score: Test how far your fuel can take you.
